Q: Hey Anthony, what are your first impressions of working in Don Nelson’s up-tempo system? Do you like it and think it will help you reach your goal of obtaining perennial All-Star status? Thanks a bunch, good luck in 09’! -Joe, Palo Alto
Anthony Randolph: I think it’s a great system. Obviously I’m still learning how to work within the system, but from everything I’ve seen it’s great. I think that any player would love to play in Nellie’s system because of the freedom that it allows us…. and yes, I think playing in this system and learning from Nellie will help me to reach my goal of being an all-star year in and year out.
Q: What are you liking about the Bay Area that’s different than Dallas or Luisiana?
AR: The diversity. There are so many different types of people, cultural influences, and things to do. I think the Bay Area is a great place to live and I’m thrilled to be here playing for the Warriors.
Q: Did you play any other sport except for basketball?
AR: I played football all the way up to the 8th grade when I started getting into basketball.

GL with the season. Are you interested in speaking to East Bay youth I work with in local schools about staying out of trouble, hitting the books, planning for the future, etc.?
Email me back if so. I have been working with the Warriors for the last 6-7 years bringing kids I work with in the schools/community to Warriors games to play on the court (pre-game) and set in on life development workshops prior to the evening game.
