Training camp kicked off with a weekend full of two-a-days as the Warriors officially have their 2008-09 campaign underway. The competition at the Warrior’s downtown practice facility has been fierce, as 17 players compete for 14 roster spots. Along with extensive conditioning, the Warrior’s have worked on a number of defensive and fast break drills as well. Anthony has fit in well with his new teammates, but admittedly has lots to learn about the team’s offensive and defensive philosophies. Anthony isn’t the only player trying to learn the Warrior’s systems, as only 6 of the 17 players at practice were in the Warrior’s training camp in Hawaii last season. With the Warrior’s first preseason game less than a week away, Anthony and his Warrior teammates will be working hard to get ready to tip it off.
